The AIF Institute provides customized educational programs to institutional investors on a standalone basis or in combination with its roundtable discussion forums. The AIF Institute creates bespoke programming for institutional investors:
- Covering topics in which investors have expressed interest to AIF
- Building upon programs that AIF has successfully delivered to other institutional investors
- Sharing the best ideas and best practices that AIF has observed in other institutional investors
Educational Partnership with the National Institute of Public Finance
AIF has been an instrumental part of the National Institute of Public Finance (NIPF), which is the not-for-profit educational foundation of the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST), since its re-launch in 2014.
AIF President Melissa Waller has served as the NIPF’s Executive Program Director, AIF Founder and CEO Brant Maller has chaired its Investments Track and both Melissa and Brant have served on the NIPF’s Board of Trustees during that time.
AIF Executive Director Andrew Messer has also been a core part of the NIPF dating back to his days as Oklahoma Deputy State Treasurer and was just named Vice Chair of the NIPF’s Investments Track.
AIF Institute Partners for Successful 2023 Program
The 2023 NIPF Certificate in Public Treasury Management (CPTM) program was held on the Pepperdine University Graziadio Business School campus from July 16 through 19. Participants in the 2023 NIPF included 21 State Treasurers, senior treasury officials from 41 states, 12 chief investment officers and senior investors, and 8 consulting firms.
The AIF Institute has served as recommend subject matter experts and faculty members for its programs.
Collaboration with Leading Public Pension Systems Nationally and Internationally
The AIF Institute has collaborated with CIOs and AIF’s Board members and member firms to create customized educational programming for national and international programs including the National Institute of Public Finance, Israel Investors’ Symposium, Infrastructure Investing Symposium, Employees Retirement System of Texas, Texas Municipal Retirement System, Maryland State Retirement and Pension System, and others, and is working with additional states and pensions globally to create trustee and board programs.
